New Featurev1.1.5

Mesh Network

Keep Serving, Even When the Internet Drops

Tiquo POS now supports Mesh Networks, keeping every till, terminal, and handheld running even when your venue loses its internet connection. Devices talk to each other directly over your local wifi, so service carries on uninterrupted and everything syncs back to Tiquo the moment you reconnect.

Internet outages happen at the worst possible moments: mid service, mid event, mid rush. Until now, an outage meant a POS that couldn't take orders and a queue building at the bar. Mesh Networks solves it. As long as your devices share a wifi network, they form a mesh and keep working together as one system. The wifi itself doesn't need to be online. Orders, tabs, and payments carry on as normal, and no member of staff needs to do anything to switch modes.

What's new

Offline operation

  • Every POS device keeps taking orders and running tabs during an internet outage
  • Devices discover each other automatically over your venue's wifi network
  • No manual switching or setup during service; the mesh forms and recovers on its own

Shared state across devices

  • Tabs, orders, and tables stay in sync across every device on the mesh
  • Open a tab on one till, add to it from another, close it at a third
  • Changes made offline are queued and reconciled with Tiquo once the connection returns
