More Flexible Membership Billing
Control start dates, renewal pricing and who pays
Membership billing has expanded for arrangements that do not fit a standard signup date. Staff can choose a future first billing date, override the trial for an assignment and review an eligible discount before the membership is created.
Make changes at the right point
When a paid plan's recurring price changes, choose whether it applies to new members only or to current members at their next renewal. The rollout does not add a mid-cycle charge. For a membership that starts later, joining-fee timing can allow the fee to be collected upfront.
A membership can also be paused with no membership charge and no member access during the pause. Staff can prepay upcoming periods and use the supported refund and re-bill actions when a past invoice needs correcting.
Separate membership and billing details
Choose a billing address for each membership, including the company shown on the invoice. A secure link can let another person add the payment method, and eligible payment links let the customer choose among the plan's pricing options. Paid memberships with a future start date appear as scheduled until that date.
