Course-by-course Kitchen Control
Hold, fire and follow each round through the kitchen
A table can order its whole meal while the kitchen prepares one course at a time. With HOLD/FIRE enabled, staff can hold a stage, release it when the guests are ready and see its progress on the open tab.
Products inherit the stage on their category or subcategory. Where staff stage selection is enabled, the team can change that assignment during ordering or move a saved item to another stage. Direct Fire prepares immediately; other stages can start held or released.
From station to pass
- •Station screens show the items their team needs to prepare. An expo screen brings ready work from the stations together for service.
- •Warning and late timers make ageing tickets visible, with thresholds configured for the service area.
- •Recall brings recently bumped tickets back into view when staff need to correct a status.
- •Product preparation times can delay quicker items in a round to help dishes finish together.
Physical kitchen tickets follow the configured stage-routing flow. A station action applies to its own items, so marking one station's work served does not also finish another station's dishes.
