How a Complete Customer Profile Boosts your Hospitality Business

The Touchpoints That Never Get Joined

A guest leaves a record at many points during a visit, from the booking and check-in to a food order or spa treatment. Retail purchases, events, payments, loyalty redemptions and membership renewal all add to that history.

With separate systems, each interaction stays in the tool that captured it. Integrations and customer data platforms can bring those records into a CRM, but the connections need maintenance. A vendor update can break a field mapping, and identity matching can miss duplicate profiles. If updates arrive late, staff may see a profile that does not yet reflect what a guest did that morning.

A shared customer record brings bookings, orders, treatments and memberships into the same history as they happen. Staff can see how a guest uses the venue without checking several systems.

Inferring Identity Across Venues and Payment Methods

Matching records is often the difficult part. Two venues may hold separate profiles for the same guest. Even within one venue, someone who books online with one email and later walks in can end up with a second profile.

Payment details can help match those records. A card used on several visits, or a wallet pass scanned at different sublocations, provides a signal alongside a name, email address, phone number and other identifiers. Together, those signals help identify profiles that belong to the same person.

In Tiquo, payments, wallet pass scans and identifiers feed the customer record. A regular at one sublocation can therefore be recognised when they transact at another.

Temporal Signals: When Joined, When Last Seen, When Spending

The dates on a profile matter too: when someone joined, their latest visit or purchase, their last booking and their next membership renewal.

Those dates help teams decide when to get in touch. A member who joined eighteen months ago but has not visited for six months may be at risk of leaving. Rising spend each quarter may suggest a tier upgrade. For someone who usually visits monthly and last booked three weeks ago, the next visit may be approaching.

Tiquo keeps this timing information on the customer profile for use in marketing segments. You could contact members who have not visited in six months, or invite guests who attended last year’s wine tastings and bought a particular bottle to the next vintage release. Each segment is a saved query that can trigger an email or automation.

Relational Analytics Across the Customer Graph

Customer records can also show relationships: guests who book together, refer new members or share a corporate account.

These connections are harder to follow when records sit in separate systems. A shared history can show a group of four who regularly book together, corporate bookers who bring guests, or a member who has made several referrals in the past year.

Tiquo’s Social Graph shows these connections and their relationship types on the customer profile.

The Bottom Line

Tiquo keeps orders, bookings, payments, memberships, loyalty events, enquiries, wallet card scans, owned products, notes and documents on one timestamped customer record. Customer Analytics, powered by Tiquo AI, adds predictive customer lifetime value and expected next-order ranges alongside historic value. Venues can add their own fields with custom parameters and use profile data in segmentation, automations and marketing workflows.
