Advanced Wastage Tracking
Record what was lost, why and who handled it
A dropped drink and an expired ingredient both affect stock, but the reason matters when you review the shift. Tiquo now has a dedicated wastage workflow that records the product, quantity, reason and responsible staff member.
Staff can close a record immediately or keep an open wastage tab while more items are added. Saving deducts the applicable tracked stock. If a saved quantity changes, Tiquo adjusts stock to match the new record; closing finalises it.
Reasons and approval controls
Manage standard wastage reasons in Settings > Reporting, with Other available for losses that do not fit a preset. A service area can require administrator approval before wastage is finalised.
Enable Wastage in the settings of a product-capable service area. The workflow is available in Orders > Wastage on the dashboard and in supported iOS and payment-terminal apps, so staff can record the loss where it happens. Wastage remains separate from customer sales and financial-document exports.
