Flexible Booking Times and Rescheduling
Choose useful start times and let customers move eligible bookings
A service's duration does not always determine the best time for the next booking to start. Calendar services now offer interval controls that let you use the service duration, choose custom starts or optimise availability around the diary.
Custom intervals range from five to 45 minutes. Optimise availability considers existing bookings, capacity and buffers when offering valid starts. Supported booking flows also let customers choose a configured booking length.
Move a booking without a phone call
Customers can reschedule eligible calendar bookings from their upcoming bookings or booking details, choosing another available date on the calendar. The venue's cancellation deadline applies to online changes. Once it has passed, the portal explains that the customer should contact the venue.
Staff can still move a booking through the calendar or staff booking flow, with a warning when the customer deadline has passed. Reminders follow the moved booking. Walk-in workflows also support the current minute where allowed, so staff can seat an arrival without waiting for the next displayed interval.
