Whistleblowing Policy
How to report concerns about wrongdoing safely and confidentially.
1. Introduction
Tiquo is committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, openness and accountability. This policy explains how concerns about wrongdoing can be raised and how Tiquo will respond. Anyone may raise a concern, including employees, contractors, partners and customers.
Tiquo will not tolerate retaliation against any person who raises a concern in good faith.
2. Purpose of this policy
The purpose of this policy is to provide a clear and confidential process for reporting concerns about misconduct, unlawful activity or behaviour that may harm Tiquo, our customers or the public. Concerns raised under this policy will be taken seriously and handled promptly.
3. What can be reported
You may use this policy to report concerns such as:
- Breaches of data protection or misuse of personal data.
- Security vulnerabilities or failures to follow security procedures.
- Fraud, financial misconduct or improper accounting.
- Unlawful or unethical behaviour.
- Serious breaches of company policies.
- Actions that may put customers, staff or the public at risk.
This list is not exhaustive. If you are unsure whether a matter is covered, you are encouraged to raise it.
4. How to raise a concern
Concerns may be reported by contacting Tiquo at support@tiquo.co. You should provide as much information as possible so that Tiquo can understand and investigate the matter. Reports may be submitted anonymously, although this may limit our ability to investigate.
5. How Tiquo will respond
Tiquo will:
- Acknowledge receipt of the concern where possible.
- Assess the information provided and determine the appropriate steps.
- Conduct a proportionate and confidential investigation.
- Take corrective action where necessary.
- Provide feedback to the person who raised the concern, if contact details have been provided.
All reports will be handled sensitively and in line with applicable law.
6. Protection from retaliation
Tiquo will not tolerate retaliation or disadvantage against anyone who raises a concern in good faith. Any allegation of retaliation will be taken seriously and may result in disciplinary or legal action.
7. Confidentiality
Tiquo will make every reasonable effort to protect the identity of individuals who raise concerns. Information will only be shared where necessary to investigate the matter or meet legal obligations.
