Waitlists and No-show Card Guarantees
Offer freed capacity and record the agreed no-show policy
A full slot can now keep a customer on a waitlist. Joining does not take payment. When capacity becomes available, Tiquo sends a temporary offer that the customer can accept before its expiry time.
Offers can be free or require payment. An expired offer returns the request to the waitlist instead of turning it into a confirmed booking. Enable Waitlist on the inventory that should offer this option.
Agree a no-show fee at checkout
Simple Mode booking flows can save a card without taking a booking payment. Configure a fee greater than zero and decide whether it applies once per booking or per person. The policy is recorded with the booking at checkout.
If the guest does not arrive, staff can mark the booking as a no-show and confirm the agreed charge, or mark it without charging. A no-show without a valid guarantee does not create a fee. Waitlist card guarantees can also be configured where that flow requires them; joining the waitlist still does not collect a payment.
